Behaviour Support

At Integrity Care, under your NDIS plan, behaviour support focuses on evidence-based strategies and person-centred supports that address the needs of the person with a disability who may be engaging in challenging behaviours.

Challenging behaviours can be considered as behaviour that puts the participant or those around them at risk. Behaviour support aims to safeguard the quality of life of people with a disability.

What is a behaviour support plan?

A behaviour support plan (BSP) is a plan that helps participants build positive behaviours that restore or reduce challenging & dangerous behaviours.

As a registered NDIS behaviour support practitioner, Integrity Care will prepare a support plan in consultation with the NDIS participant, their family, carers and other support people. The plan will contain evidence-informed strategies that seek to improve a participant’s quality of life.
